Our story began long before either of us realized it—on a sandy day at Gilgo Beach. Paige was there trying to surf, and Dan was there providing a surfboard. At the time, we were complete strangers, unaware that our paths had briefly crossed or that years later, that same beach would become part of our shared story. Fast forward to 2017, when we officially met through mutual friends while spending time in the city. True to Dan’s social nature and his love for bringing people together, he invited Paige and a group of friends to join him for a day at the drive-on beach known as Sore Thumb. What started as a fun summer day—playing beach games, swimming, paddle boarding, and laughing—quietly became the beginning of something much bigger. Our real connection sparked unexpectedly one day when Paige stopped by Dan’s house to pick up a phone charger a friend had borrowed. What was supposed to be a quick stop turned into hours of conversation. We talked and talked, losing track of time. Paige knew almost immediately—she felt butterflies and knew she was in love. Dan didn’t realize it at the time, but he had fallen in love with Paige too. Since then, we have been through so much together—highs and lows, challenges and growth—but through it all, our bond has only grown stronger. Together, we built a deep and meaningful connection rooted in love, patience, and faith. Looking back, we truly believe that God had a plan all along, guiding our paths to cross again at exactly the right time. What began with chance meetings and shared moments has grown into a love story grounded in friendship, faith, and the belief that we were always meant to find each other.

Our wedding at Tellers: Next Door blends destination ease with rustic, classic style—think elegant but comfortable. We suggest cocktail attire: dresses, dressy separates, or jumpsuits for women; suits or sport coats with dress pants for men. Feel free to wear dressy flats or low heels.
